Hello my name is Aaya K. I decided to take this course because I was interested in how Ben Franklin had an affect on our country. I was also interested in helping to create an online exhibit for other students who wanted to learn about Ben Franklin. I am in sixth grade and enjoy reading and writing. I am also very interested in history. I was very excited to be in the class about how our country has improved and how the colonies were advanced for their time. Ben Franklin was respected for his great knowledge and for his wisdom. Ben Franklin was famous for his accomplishment in many different subjects. He was also famous for his wise sayings and the almanac that he published to make public many important pieces of information. These almanacs were called Poor Richard’s Almanac. Ben Franklin was also very active in trying to make the colonies a better place to live in and in creating the constitution for the people who lived in the colonies.
