Franklin Remixed

Hello. My name is Sharell. I love to work with technology. I’ve had experiences with blogs and different websites before. My other interests are music and science. I wanted to join this course so that I could think and learn about Ben Franklin and to share my opinions with others. Ben Franklin did so much for the United States like helping to write the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. He also invented and founded many things which we are grateful for today. Even though he did have some flaws he was still an amazing man who made a huge impact in history. I decided to make a movie poster about Ben Franklin’s volunteer fire company. This was important because houses were made out of wood and if one house was on fire soon the whole block would be on fire.The picture is courtesy of The Benjamin Franklin Tercentenary. I made this motivational poster about almanacs during Ben Franklin’s time. Almanacs were an important source of information for everyone. Poor Richard’s Almanac which was written and printed by Ben Franklin was the most popular almanac of it’s time because of the interesting views expressed in it.
