Beth Twiss-Garrity
Hi! I am a associate professor in the Museum Studies department of The Univeristy of Arts and a museum consultant. I was really excited to be asked to join the Franklin Remixed team because I knew it would be fun to work with middle school students, I would get to learn how to use new (to me) software, and it would provide a great learning opportunity for my graduate students. Our job was to 1) conduct research on how much the middle school students learned about Ben Franklin from doing this project and 2) help teach the Franklin Remixed mini-course. We all learned a lot! (Though I still needed my daughter’s help to create this magazine cover.)
